LOTW is a musky fisherman's paradise. With an average size somewhere close to 20 pounds and lots of 50+ inch fish out there, there aren't many lakes that compare.
My first day guiding on Lake of the Woods was for musky. We boated three that day. I really didn't have a clue what I was doing, but I pulled it off (I got lucky). The large population of musky on this lake helped, I’m sure. Ever since that day, I’ve been a bit of a Musky fanatic and go after them whenever possible.

Although musky fishing is my passion, I’ve probably spent most of my time fishing walleye on this lake, and I've become very good at it. This lake is full of walleye. Big ones, small ones and everything in between.
Lake of the Woods has some awesome pike fishing to offer. Over the years I have come across some great spots that produce numerous 40+ inch fish. Whether you want to fish them for just a few hours, or you want to chase them all day long, I have plenty of spots to keep us busy.
